Silas went to his very first well-baby appointment today. The doc ordered bloodwork and immunizations. He was SO good. His hearing is wonderful...no excuses later for ignoring his mother. He got three shots and he cried...but not for long. I really felt bad for the guy giving the shots...I asked him if making people cry ever gets to him. You know? Poor guy.
Then to the lab for blood work. Two precious soldiers did a fabulous job. They were so sweet that they didn't really want to do it. Praise the Lord, Silas has a great vein in his arm. He didn't even flinch when they drew his blood. The bad part was the heel stick...that was definitely cry worthy, but he's back to himself after a good nap in the swing...

Jill!!!! my little "cousin" is looking so happy in mommy and daddy's arms. my mom saw you out walking today but only got to see his feet sticking out of the blanket. I can't wait to see the three of you all together!

I LOVE HIM! Oh you two - Silas is the cutest little guy ever : ) !!!!
