Marshall and I like to talk about things in terms of, "this time last year..." or "this time 3 years ago, we were....".
Today I say, "One month ago today, we walked through the door with our sweet son."
We were already in love with him, but it's grown over these last weeks. We have been able to watch him become more and more comfortable and we've seen his personality come through..in full force! In the beginning he was just laid back and smiley. Now he's able to convey what he wants and when he wants it. I don't mean that in a negative way at all...shows us that he is at home and trusts us enough to let out that shrill scream...he knows we love him.
He's gained over 2 pounds, grown an inch, started solids, rolled over and seems to be teething. We're still working on sleeping through the night, and I'll admit I'm tired, but it's been joy. I wouldn't say that if it wasn't true. I try to be real, so this part of our lives is no different.

I did NOT get your email... Hmmm. I wonder what happened. Sometimes I get overwhelmed with email (mostly junk) and if I have a day when I can't check it at least a couple of times, I end up with too many email and inevitably I miss something. Try again. Or, feel free to give me a call this weekend...
