- He is very vocal when the pacifier is out....definitely finding his voice.
- He sticks his tongue out to the side...it helps him think.
- He is scooting around on the floor, turns all the way around, rocks on his belly and rocks on his hands and knees. Uh oh! I think he's given up on rolling from tummy to back because he's found another way to be mobile.
- Still drooling like crazy. Where are those teeth?
- Silas is a champion traveler. Personally, I wouldn't have gotten back into the carseat on Day 2, but he did....over and over and over again.
- He loves music to include his tone deaf momma.
- Sleeps through the night, even through all of this transition minus a few nights.
- Is drinking close to 8 oz at a time now and loves to eat his baby food more than drink a bottle.
Oh Silas, we love you like crazy!

Happy 8 month b-day! :)
He must be a genius as only geniuses stick their tongue out to the side while thinking. (I know cause...I do. Just sayin'...it's possible. )
:P

Yay! What a cutie!
Ah...the drool. Abel used to drool so much we went through like 10 bibs a day (all saturated). Then, kind of suddenly, it stopped. Now, even when teeth are coming in the drool factor is pretty average. Before that the drool was insane. So strange. :)
Silas is such a sweetie...hope to meet a more grown up Silas (& his parents) one day. I can't believe this is that itty, bitty, little boy I held in Ethiopia!

Yay family Coen!!!! You made it to NC, your new home state. Congratulations! Hope you are able to relax a bit as you get yourselves painted up and settled into your new space. Get that pizza delivered and just be "home" for awhile. It has been fun reading your travel blog and is still such a pleasure to share in the joy of your lil guy Silas. Oh is he too cute. Like you two! 8 months old! WOW! : ) heart, sabrina
